Have you ever imagined or imitated how early human and made their tools to be used in their daily life ?

ARCO Research Center has master flintknappers and experiential archaeologists to present to you sights from prehistoric life. Based on our experience in conducting flintknapping workshops in different governate entities (e.g. University of Cologne/Germany, University of Jordan, and Department of Antiquities/Al Kuwait) in the world, we aim to clarify the art of flintknapping to professional organizations, educational facilities, and the general public. We are excited to demonstrate the art of flintknapping in our society as it is a skill unknown despite the richness of our archaeological records in Palaeolithic and Neolithic artefacts (arrowheads, spearheads, hand-axes, scrapers). Through the flintknapping course, we learn how our ancestors created and used their tools to survive and insure their livelihood.

We organized a comprehensive workshop for tool manufacturing at Zayed National Museum in order to exhibit the produced tools in order to display it in the exhibition hall.
