Archaeological Excavation and Research at Saruq Al Hadid in Dubai 2022-2023
As one of the first independent archaeological research Center in UAE, we organize international interdisciplinary teams to fit the requirements of the archaeological sites to be excavated (e.g. Islamic, Classical, Iron, Bronze Age, and Prehistoric sites). These teams are affiliated with different international Universities and use the latest technologies and methods.
In-laboratory research not only coincides with the fieldwork, but also persists in post-excavation to provide artefact and sample analysis, environmental processing and analysis, publication, and outreach.
ARCO Research Center provides expert archaeology and heritage services. We are building a reputation based on our ability to deliver our client’s requirements on diverse projects by understanding their specific needs and applying our considerable experience in delivering the best specialists.

Evaluation and Assessment for Antiquities Insurance
The ARCO Center conducted evaluations for approximately 24,000 archaeological artifacts curated by the Department of Architecture and Antiquities within the Department of Culture and Heritage in Dubai. Additionally, the center facilitated access to various European insurance document models suitable for these artifacts.
Furthermore, the ARCO team published a handbook detailing the step-by-step processes executed by the international team. This handbook includes scientific guidance on artifact evaluation, accompanied by photographs, explanations, and necessary mathematical operations. The aim is to streamline the evaluation process for the department's staff in the future.
